Dare to Dream

I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart and a scrapbooker.  And my husband Nick and I have always enjoyed entertaining and cooking. Although we can’t remember the exact moment we came up with the idea of combining our talents and opening a retreat, once we did it quickly became my dream to offer a warm and inviting place for women to get together and spend a weekend scrapping, beading, stamping or quilting and sharing a good time together.  

On October 28th, 2005, we welcomed our first group of scrapbookers.  I will never forget the butterflies I had wondering if they would like it.  (They just booked their 7th retreat!)  I think they like it!   

We enjoy seeing our guests devoting their time to their craft and spending precious moments with new and old friends. It continues to be such a pleasure hearing the laughter of happy ladies.  

We have a sign that reads, “Come as Strangers, Leave as Friends.”

We have met so many wonderful friends.   I count my blessings every day to have followed this dream and to say with heartfelt honesty that I love my job!
